Scientific Research
The origin of Traditional Chinese Medicine is clouded in time, with evidence pointing to its evolution over 4,000 years ago and its strong links with the Eastern Philosophy of Taoism.
In modern day China, TCM is a core part of the Chinese National Health Service and is taught extensively across China in Medical Schools. It is used as a standard method of treatment in Chinese hospitals alongside more modern western medicine.

An important facility at the Jichuan Chinese Medicine Clinic is the availability of an extensively stocked Chinese Herbal Dispensary. The Dispensaries at Chester and Altrincham ( Greater Manchester ) provide a comprehensive dispensing service of hand mixed and selected Chinese Herbal Treatments.
